here she is!

i promised i would figure out how to load photos efficiently. thought i's add the pictures of hazel that i got when i accepted her referal.i have to give a disclaimer about referal photos: they are all pretty bad. think of them as the equivalent of passport photos . but you have to admit that this sweet little face grows on you. speaking of growing, i hope she gets some hair soon!
so yesterday was hazels birthday. ruby and i sang her happy birthday at the breakfast table. the day before we made lemon cupcakes to celebrate. i am a little sad to miss her first birthday. i know there will be many firsts for us to celebrate but there is something about that classic cake photo that everyone should have.
i went to asia today to sign some more papers and a few other things. i TRIED to get some info out of fei, but she just looked at me with that mona lisa smile and didn't say much. except that someone should be getting travel approval (ta) soon. try as i might, the only info i was able to get out of her was that she is expecting to hear something from the ccaa tomorrow. hmmm
